PINATUBO FILLY

A classy filly sired by Pinatubo, out of Glamorous Miss.

Pinatubo was a three-time Group 1 winner and an undefeated champion two-year old. He had six unchallenged victories as a two-year-old, two of which were at Group 1 level. His signature performance was a nine-length win in the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh in Ireland. In his final start, Pinatubo won the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket and in effect cemented his place as the British and Irish champion juvenile.

According to the highly-respected Timeform organisation, Pinatubo was the highest-rated juvenile racehorse for 25 years.
He is a son of Shamardal and from the blueblood family of Invincible Spirit, Kodiac and Pride Of Dubai. His first Australian yearlings to go through the Magic Millions Yearling sales hit a top price of $700,000.

The dam of our new filly also injects quality and class. Glamorous Miss, by the Champion Broodmare Sire Redoute’s Choice, secured three wins during her race career and has already proven herself at stud. Her first foal, So Glamorous, has won twice so far over the 1200m to 1400m distance and placed twice at Group 2 and Group 3 level, ensuring excellent residual value prospects for our filly. Glamorous Miss is also a half-sister to Madame Andree who has produced four Stakes-grade horses, including the electrifyingly quick Anders, who is now standing at Stud.
